HD Lock Covers (Set of 6)

Description

A Hybrid 3D printed heavy duty cover for the original locks on the V1 and V2 (not Pro) GFC. Moisture present in the latch can freeze. Lock covers can help limit additional moisture from entering and potentially freezing the latch.

Each cover snaps down snug and secure.  Always check for any damage or loose covers before driving.

How do Sewverlander Lock Covers compare with others.

Sewverlander covers are carefully designed to be heavier duty, attractive, and customizable.  Quality was the goal when designing the cover, not speed of production.   I estimate my covers use twice the material, take twice as long to make, and are twice as fancy as others available.

The covers are UV resistant.  High temperature can damage the cover material.  I recommend removing covers during the warmer months of the year or use at your own risk.

What to expect:

Quality & Tolerances:  3D printing isn’t perfect.  Many 3D printed items require some type of post-processing to look good.  Most 3D printed items we will offer will receive very little post-processing (mostly light sanding or trimming).  Sometimes 3D printed items have minor imperfections during the 3D printing process.  This is why there is a tolerance for some blemishing.  With that said, I inspect every item while printing and before it ships.  If I feel the quality of the item is unacceptable or won’t perform well, I will make a new item.

Delivery Time:  Currently made to order.  One set may take up to 3 days before shipping.  Personalized items may be slightly longer.
